Jr. Kindergarten

Designed to be the launching pad from which your child will embark on elementary education, our Jr. Kindergarten class continues to build on key developmental and academic skills. Maintaining a commitment to exploration and the natural inquisitiveness of children, this hands-on class provides a safe and nurturing environment in which to learn the foundational social and academic skills that develop kindergarten readiness.

In recognition of its role in preparing children to enter elementary school, our Jr. Kindergarten offers additional age-appropriate structure to the academic curriculum, including the following enrichment opportunities:

• Social studies and science exploration using Weekly Reader by Scholastic

• A Get Set for School workbook that builds a firm foundation of letter and number awareness

• Development of healthy attitudes toward movement and exercise through the Movin' and Groovin' curriculum
