Eligibility:
The child must be 4 years old on or before October 1, 2026 to be eligible for the 2026-27 school year. If the child will be 3 on this date, you are encouraged to contact your school district directly for preschool services. Please refer to the Universal Preschool Guide for Families for more details on the enrollment process, the program, and more.
Colorado Universal Preschool
All children in Colorado can apply for up to 15 hours per week of tuition-free, high-quality preschool in their year before kindergarten through Colorado’s Universal Preschool program. See More Information in the UPK Guide for Families.
2025-26 School Year Enrollment
Pre-registration and Family-to-Provider matching rounds are now complete, and families may enroll directly with providers via Direct Enrollment. Please refer to the Universal Preschool Guide for Families for more details on the enrollment process, the program, and more.
